There are 4 kinds or paths of Yoga that lead to same achievement viz,
1) Karma Yoga - The Yoga of Action
2) Bhakti Yoga - The Yoga of Devotion
3) Gyana Yoga - The Yoga of Knowledge
4) Raja Yoga - The path of Royal Yoga
and also some text mention the Hatha Yoga (The Physical Yoga)
The Ashtanga Yoga (Eight-fold path of yoga) was mentioned by sage Patanjali viz,
1) Yama ( Restraints)
2) Niyama (Observances)
3) Asana (Body Postures)
4) Pranayama (Regulation of Breath)
5) Pratyahara (Abstraction of senses)
6) Dharana (Concentration)
7) Dhyana (Meditation)
8) Samadhi (Self-realization)
We can practice yoga in 3 steps like,
1) Yogic Postures - Yoga Asana
2) Yogic Breathing Practices - Pranayama
3) Meditation - Dhyana
